WALKING TOUR HISTORIC CENTER

We will take a walk in the heart of Florence to admire the most important monuments in the main squares, Piazza del Duomo with the Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery; Piazza della Signoria has always been the center of political power with the Palazzo dei Priori being its symbol, with the Loggia dell'Orcagna which houses the sculpture masterpieces of Cellini and Giambologna, with the Neptune Fountain and the equestrian monument to Cosimo I, emblems of Medici power. We will then cross Ponte Vecchio, one of the most famous Florentine monuments in the world, to get to Palazzo Pitti, the grand ducal residence of the Medici.
